With compositions from classical music, film, pop and jazz, the Georgian violinist traces eleven metropolises that have become a part of her in different ways. Inspired by musical geniuses such as Charlie Chaplin, she developed new arrangements with singer Katie Melua and jazz trumpeter Till Brönner, among others. In Ludwigsburg, Lisa Batiashvili reveals the broad emotional spectrum: from the Viennese gallop's gaiety to Buenos Aires's melancholy.
