Audiences and fellow musicians praise the Georgian-born German violinist Lisa Batiashvili for her virtuosity. The multi-award-winning artist has built close and enduring relationships with some of the world's finest orchestras, conductors, and soloists. She regularly appears on stage with orchestras such as the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonic Orchestras, the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, to name but a few. Her album, »City Lights«, recorded exclusively for Deutsche Grammophon, was released in 2020. Following her longstanding efforts to strengthen the musical infrastructure in Georgia, she founded the LISA BATIASHVILI FOUNDATION in 2021, a foundation to support young, highly talented musicians.
