An outlook for September

Jens Harzer, Ensemble Stile Antico & Elbtonal Percussion

[This text has been translated electronically] The Ludwigsburg Festival traditionally plays some of its external venues in Baden-Württemberg at the end of the festival year in September, and so in 2022 it will also be a guest in the picturesquely situated Upper Swabian town of Wolfegg: musicians from the Festival Orchestra will perform Mozart’s wind serenade »Gran Partita« on September 17 at 8 p.m. in the Rittersaal Wolfegg. The concert will be complemented by Hölderlin texts read by actor Jens Harzer, the current recipient of the Iffland Ring. The following day, September 18 at 11 a.m., members of the Festival Orchestra will perform a matinee of works by Mozart, Haydn and Carl Maria von Weber in the Alte Pfarr in Wolfegg. This will be followed at 6 p.m. by a concert of wonderful Marian chants by the British vocal ensemble Stile Antico in the parish church of St. Katharina zu Wolfegg. The Hamburg percussion ensemble Elbtonal Percussion invites you to a rhythmic crossover in the Fürstensaal of Bad Imnau on September 25 at 7 p.m. Enjoy a late summer excursion to the wonderfully located venues!
