Described by the New York Times as »one of the fiercest dramatic talents«, the versatile soprano Asmik Grigorian has enjoyed great success, above all, on the leading international opera stages. Her previous engagements include the Vienna State Opera, the Teatro alla Scala, the Royal Opera House, the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, and, last but not least, the Salzburg Festival with her portrayal of »Salome«. Concert projects and recitals have also brought her together with partners such as Riccardo Muti, Alan Gilbert, the Tokyo Philharmonic, the Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and Lukas Geniušas. The latter pianist and her released the CD »Dissonance« in 2022, contributing significantly to Asmik Grigorian's OPUS KLASSIK award as »Singer of the Year« in 2023. The Ópera XXI Society named her Opera Singer of the Year in 2022. A year when her outstanding voice was captured and portrayed alongside singers Barbara Hannigan and Ermonela Jaho in the film »Fuoco Sacro« [Sacred Fire].
