The pianist Filippo Gorini received his training at the G. Donizetti Conservatory in Bergamo. After his success at the »International Telekom Beethoven Competition« in Bonn in 2015, engagements took him to renowned venues such as the Berlin Konzerthaus, the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie and London's Wigmore Hall. His recordings for the Alpha Classics label have received numerous awards, most recently his recording of Johann Sebastian Bach's »The Art of Fugue«, which Le Monde chose as one of the best albums of 2021. Contemporary compositions by Karlheinz Stockhausen and Helmut Lachenmann also play a significant role in his extensive solo and chamber music repertoire. For example, in the 2021/2022 season, he was involved in the world premiere of a sonata by Federico Gardella.
