Germaine Acogny

In close collaboration with the writer Léopold Sédar Senghor and the choreographer Maurice Béjart, she founded the dance school Mudra Afrique in 1977. After her return to Senegal, she also opened L'école des Sables in 1995, dedicated to traditional and contemporary African dance.
