What would a Beatles song sound like if Johann Sebastian Bach had covered it? Spark has an answer to that question. Known and celebrated for its cross-border interpretations of classical music, the five-member ensemble, which introduces itself as a »classical band«, brings together three icons of music history – and without a time machine. With Johann Sebastian Bach, Luciano Berio, and the Beatles, it invites you on a multi-faceted sound journey that combines classical, modern, and pop in an innovative and rousing way. The focus is on around forty different flutes, with which Spark lives up to its name and lets the enthusiasm for the often unpopular school instrument jump over.
Tickets are still available at the box office.
