«In music I find and search for everything; and that which cannot be found becomes a to be found, becomes a demand to continue researching.« The musician and composer Malakoff Kowalski has been involved with the piano for many years. He plays and writes on the piano and thus creates music which, although composed, but at the same time can have a completely momentary effect. Kowalski found his minimalist style, limited to the piano, in collaboration with film director Klaus Lemke. Kowalski served as film composer for the feature film  »Stasikomödie«, which was recently released in theaters.

In the interview he describes his intention in composing: To create a space with music that has nothing to do with the world outside.
