All information about the »Night in the Salonwald«

Behaviour in the forest

The “Night in the Salonwald” takes place under the safety regulations of the public law institution Forst Baden-Württemberg. We ask you to observe these for the duration of the event:


Fenced or closed areas, natural regeneration, forest crops and plant gardens, hunting (e.g. high seats and pulpits) and forestry facilities, felled trees and stacked logs (wood piles), and other materials, machines and equipment may not be entered by event participants.


Using open fires and lights* and camping in the forest is prohibited.

* Please limit your flashlight use to the paths and avoid shining them across or into the forest.


Smoking is prohibited in the forest from March 1 to October 31.


Forest paths and access roads must not be blocked by parked vehicles so that they can be used by emergency vehicles at any time.


Guests attend the event at their own risk.


Pets

Dogs and other animals are not permitted at the »Nacht im Salonwald«.

Bring along

We ask you to bring weatherproof clothing, mosquito repellent, a charged smartphone, headphones and a torch or headlamp. to bring with you. A limited number of smartphones, headphones and headlamps can also be borrowed for a deposit.

How to get there and parking

The starting point of the event is at the corner of Königsallee/Königinallee. 
We kindly ask you to use the surrounding parking facilities.

Start and end of the event

The event starts at 21:30.
Headlamps can be returned at the starting point until 23:00.

Catering and toilets

Please note that there are no restaurants nor restrooms on the premises.

Weather

If it rains, rain ponchos will be available at the information stand. In the event of heavy rain, the event must be canceled for safety reasons. The event must also be canceled if there is a risk of slipping on the paths due to heavy rain.
