Anyone who missed the production of the popular Brahms Requiem in the Liederhalle in 2022 or simply missed the simply would like to experience it again, you can now watch a film by Stephan Talneau and Jochen Sandig. In the fall of 2023, the »Human Requiem « was performed in the ancient sanctuaries of Eleusis. In 2023, the city bore the European Capital of Culture. European Capital of Culture. Berlin Radio Choir under the direction of Gijs Leenaars the soprano Marlis Petersen, the baritone Benjamin Appl, and dancers from Sasha Waltz & Guests.

Like our Festival, the tradition-steeped Ludwigsburg SCALA offers unforgettable cultural moments. In 2024, we therefore invite you together to the iconic rooms of the venue together. During the current season, SCALA presents three films that are connected to the festival program of the Festival.

Tickets for «Human Requiem in Eleusis« on June 12 at 8 pm in the Festspiel Kino are available from our ticket office and online.

You can also experience the dancers from Sasha Waltz & Guests live on June 6 and 7 with «Sasha Waltz Beethoven«.

The film screening will be followed by a discussion with Jochen Sandig.
