Born in the suburbs of Ludwigsburg, he bought his first record player at a flea market in Bietigheim when he was 15. Since then, he has enjoyed digging at record stores and markets for unique treasures made of polyvinyl chloride. Getting into conversations with record shop owners on travels to other countries like Italy, France, Japan, or Portugal is what he enjoys most. As a teenager, Dogan Celiktemel, alias DOGAN, was already interested in subcultures and hip-hop culture. Inspired by US films such as »Beat Steet«, »Do the Right Thing« and »Menace II Society«, which capture the sound of the streets with hip-hop, funk and soul from the 80s and 90s, DOGAN sees this music as a voice for those on the edge of society, abandoned from the privileged. At the turntables at »Creep N Crawl«, he will play originals and samples from 50 years of black music, a mixture of funk, boogie and disco to create a soundtrack for memorable moments - surprises included!
