Philipp Lamprecht 

The versatile musician Philipp Lamprecht has a soft spot for new and old music. As a member of numerous ensembles for contemporary and historical music, he works mainly in chamber music and realizes his own solo and educational projects. The musician appears particularly frequently with the ensembles Duo Enßle-Lamprecht (Austria), Ensemble Chromoson (Italy), La Petite Écurie (Holland), Ensemble Meitar (Israel), Ensemble Continu:um (Germany). He has been artistic director of the International Paul Hofhaymer Society Salzburg since 2018. From 2015 to 2021, Philipp Lamprecht was a lecturer on percussion instruments at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. In 2019, along with tenor Benedikt Kristjánsson and harpsichordist Elina Albach, he was awarded an Opus Klassik for the most innovative concert of the year for his arrangement of Bach's St. John Passion.
