St. Katharina
Wolfegg in the Allgäu
The baroque church of St. Katharina, built in the 18th century, creates with its impressive ceiling frescoes and magnificent historic organ the perfect setting for heavenly a cappella singing.
Wolfegg in the Allgäu, a popular tourist destination, has been an outdoor venue for the castle festival since 1984. Every year in September, following the festival season in Ludwigsburg, up to three outstanding concerts take place here. A weekend visit to Ludwigsburg is therefore worthwhile three times over.
