The Ludwigsburg Palace Festival begins its advance booking on Thursday, 9 November 2023 for eight outstanding program items of the 2024 season, which is dedicated to two major themes of our time, democracy and humanity. 

The guests are the conductors Ryan McAdams, Anja Bihlmaier and Alondra de la Parra, the violist Lawrence Power, the pianist Fazı Power, pianist Fazıl Say, violinist Renaud Capuçon, the vocal ensembles VOCES8 and Chanticleer, the dance ensembles Sasha Waltz & Guests and Akram Khan Company and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. In cooperation with the Stuttgart State Opera Stuttgart State Opera, two partners also come together to perform the staged song cycle »Die schöne Müllerin« with a stage design by Norbert Bisky at the Schlosstheater.

Two special subscriptions are already on offer alongside the tried-and-tested optional subscription: the Christmas package consisting of »Fest Spiel Ouvertüre«, »Renaud Capuçon Schumann« and »Monrepos Open Air« as well as the dance subscription with »Sasha Waltz Beethoven« and »Akram Khan Junglebook«.

The last season of the Ludwigsburg Festival as a »Festival of the Arts, democracy and sustainability« under the directorship of Jochen Sandig covers the period from June 1 to July 20, 2024.

Advance sales for the entire program will begin at the end of February 2024 of the 2024 season.
