While the VR installation «Mendelssohn Virtual Reality« digitally transports you to an enchanted forest on the outskirts of Athens in Shakespeare’s »A Midsummer Night’s Dream,« the musicians* are not meant to remain just 3D illusions. As part of the virtual reality installation , there is a live concert by three members of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra on Saturday, first july at 1:00 pm. While you can’t lie under a cello or violin here like you can in the VR installation, this live concert will make your lunch break a very special experience.
