Founded in 2004 by Mikhail Gurewitsch, the dogma chamber orchestra unites internationally experienced musicians from various backgrounds. The orchestra has set itself the mission of creating memorable concert experiences, in which the audience is firmly integrated. Because of that, it has earned itself a reputation as one of Europe's most innovative chamber music ensembles. The musicians put their plans into practice through cooperations with versatile artists and interactive projects such as their own »world of dogma« festival. The repertoire, which includes famous works from all epochs as well as original compositions by participating artists, is also meant to be significant. The orchestra was awarded the OPUS Klassik in 2019 and twice the ECHO Klassik for its stirring playing style.
