In May 2021 Tatsiana Khomich, the sister of activist and artist Maria Kalesnikava met our artistic director Jochen Sandig for an interview. Khomich talks about the political and civil society changes in her country and asks to support the Belarusians. On September 6, 2021, her sister was sentenced to eleven years in prison for organizing an unconstitutional seizure of power. This political move sends a clear message of hope for peaceful change with respect for human rights.
