Jochen Sandig, with his pioneering spirit, already enjoyed a reputation as co-founder of notable cultural institutions in Berlin when he took over as intendant of the Ludwigsburg Festival for the start of the 2020 season. Due to Covid, his first season had to be held in an extremely reduced form. Now, however, we have his striking new, multifarious concept, geared to the Sustainable Development Goals formulated in 2012 by the United Nations.
