Viva con agua – water is a human right! The non-profit association defines its vision clearly and precisely: access to clean drinking-water and humane sanitary conditions is a fundamental right, in view of which Tobias Rau, Michael Fritz and Lars Braitmayer founded Viva con Agua de St. Pauli in 2004. This takes courage and the ability to see the world as one great network. They consider it particularly important that social commitment should be fun. The message of the association, which now includes various projects, is based on the universal languages of music, arts and sports – making it an all-profit organisation, since this combination enables them not only to achieve manifest improvements, but also to create a dynamism that motivates people to pitch in.
