Monrepos Lake Castle
The picturesque little rococo palace by a romantic wooded lake in the historic park landscape offers the ideal setting for the Festival's annual Monrepos Open-Air & Fireworks event, which attracts some 8,000 visitors.
Public transport during the Monrepos Open Air
Free shuttle buses run from the S-Bahn stops Favoritepark and Freiberg and from Ludwigsburg station (bus platform 18).
Parking during the Monrepos Open Air
The P+R car park on Reuteallee is available free of charge, as are parking spaces at the University of Education and the neighbouring schools. Free shuttle buses run from the Pädagogische Hochschule bus stop.
Parking is also possible on the Bärenwiese in Ludwigsburg city centre (Friedrich-Ebert-Straße). Free shuttle buses also run in front of the fountain at the Forum am Schlosspark.
Fee-paying parking spaces (€5) are available in dry weather directly opposite the entrance to Seeschloss Monrepos on the L1138.
The shuttle buses will run from each of the above-mentioned stops between 17:30-20:45 to the open-air grounds and back again after the concert until 00:30.
