LGT YOUNG SOLOISTS

A magnificent mosaic of outstanding compositions and exceptional musicians: A concert with the LGT Young Soloists promises to be nothing less. The highly talented young members come from over 20 nations, performing sometimes as soloists or accompanists. Since its founding in 2013, the ensemble has celebrated great success with this concept; two years ago, they made their U.S. debut and went on international tours through Australia, Asia, and North America. Under the direction of their founder, Alexander Gilman, the LGT Young Soloists will present cheerful string divertimenti, romantic and wistful works by Max Bruch, baroque lightness from Schnittke’s 20th-century perspective, Paganini-like virtuosity on the double bass and last but not least the passionate tango counterpart to Vivaldi’s timeless »Four Seasons«.

The exhibition at the Residenzschloss opens one hour before the concert.
