From analogue dance music to 80s electro: pure summer groove
The Ludwigsburg Festival introduces a new format with two Festival Nights in the courtyard of the Kunstzentrum Karlskaserne, filling warm summer evenings with exceptional musical and artistic moments. The first Festival Night begins with renowned Korean singer Youn Sun Nah, whose songs drift like delicate dialogues between earth and sky. With a distinctive mix of jazz, folk, and world music, she captivates her audience and opens the first Festival Night with poetic musicality. As an artistic highlight, choreographer Wanda Moretti and her Venetian company Il Posto present »Variazioni Verticali«: on the façade of the Karlskaserne crew building, dance engages in dialogue with architecture. The nine musicians of the Dutch band Jungle by Night bring vibrant summer energy to the stage with their lively blend of Afrobeat, funk, and soul. Their »pure summer groove« invites everyone to dance and dream under the starry sky, concluding the festival night with urban joy of life. An evening filled with contrasts, combining music and dance in a unique setting to create an unforgettable celebration.
The concert is not seated, but seating is available on the grounds of the Kunstzentrum Karlskaserne. There will also be a wide range of food and drink on offer.
