Piotr Anderszewski is known for his profound interpretations of selected piano repertoire. In addition to German-Viennese Classicism, including works by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and Schumann, he is also interested in Central European music of the 20th century. He has been an exclusive artist with Warner Classics since 2000. Anderszewski has received numerous awards for his recordings, including the Gramophone Classical Music Award. He has collaborated with instrumentalists such as Viktoria Mullova, Frank Peter Zimmermann, and the Belcea Quartet, and has also recorded piano concerts with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, the Sinfonia Varsovia, and others. In 2002, Anderszewski was awarded the prestigious Gilmore Artist Award. In the 2025/26 season, he will perform at Wigmore Hall, the Philharmonie de Paris, the Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, and the Tonhalle Zurich. He will also tour through China, Japan, and Australia. His latest recording, released in January 2026, is dedicated to Brahms’ late piano works. He is also working on a book reflecting on his experiences as a musician and performer.
