Andrés Gabetta is regarded as one of the most brilliant Baroque musicians of his era. He performs as a violin soloist and conductor in Europe’s leading concert halls, including the Elbphilharmonie, Berlin Philharmonic, Musikverein Vienna, and Philharmonie Paris, as well as at major international festivals such as the Salzburg Festival, Menuhin Festival in Gstaad, and Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival. His original CD recordings have received awards like the Grammy and the Diapason d’Or. He performs with soloists such as Sol Gabetta, Julia Lezhneva, Vivica Geneaux, Simone Kermes, and Maurice Steger, and has maintained a close artistic collaboration with Cecilia Bartoli for around ten years. Gabetta made his debut as concertmaster with the Ensemble baroque de Limoges in 2006 and later with the Basel Chamber Orchestra, before founding Cappella Gabetta in 2010 and the Gabetta Consort in 2019. As a conductor, Andrés Gabetta also regularly guest conducts esteemed Baroque orchestras such as the Baroque Orchestra of Seville, the Orchestre des Lumières, and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera of Versailles.
