Alte Pfarr

Wolfegg in the Allgäu

The first romanesque church in Wolfegg, built in 861, with remains of frescoes from the 14th century provides an incomparable setting for the concerts of the Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele.

Wolfegg in the Allgäu region, which is popular with tourists, has been an external venue for the Schlossfestspiele since 1984. Every year in September, following the festival season in Ludwigsburg, up to three outstanding concerts take place here. A weekend visit from Ludwigsburg is therefore definitely worth it.
