The sixth festival week at a glance

Human Requiem, Vitali Alekseenok & Edivaldo Ernesto/Hauschka

Artistic Director Jochen Sandig will bring his production of Brahms’ »Deutschem Requiem« on June 9 and 10, both at 8 p.m., at the Stuttgart Liederhalle. With »Human Requiem Brahms« the audience is directly involved in the action and experiences the deep and experience the profoundly human message of the Requiem with all their senses. On Friday June 10 at 6 p.m., the young singer-songwriter still sane will play the »Frei Luft Musik« on the Ludwigsburg marketplace. With the concert evening »The Unfinished Revolution« on June 11 at 8 p.m. in the Forum am Schlosspark we set a sign for democracy and peace. The Belarusian conductor Vitali Alekseenok and the orchestra of the Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele combine Schubert’s 7th Symphony with poetry poem settings by Belarusian composers. On June 12 at 7 p.m. dancer Edivaldo Ernesto and pianist and composer Hauschka enter into a dialogue of dance and music.
