Teodor Currentzis celebrates his birthday with a concert of his orchestra musicAeterna and the musicAeterna Choir in the Megaron Concert Hall in his native city Athens.

Teodor Currentzis knows how to celebrate and stage classical music like few others. In this way he reaches a much younger audience and appeals to many who are otherwise not at all or less inclined to classical music.

On the program is Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in D minor op. 125
