Our venues

The Ludwigsburg Festival enjoys a particularly festive atmosphere thanks to its venues – the heart of the festival is Ludwigsburg Palace. But it is not only there that the Ludwigsburg Festival lives up to its name; concerts will also be held at Favorite Palace and Monrepos Palace. For large festival events, the Forum am Schlosspark also offers state-of-the-art stage technology and excellent acoustics.

Stuttgart-based architectural photographer Daniel Stauch has captured these buildings in the best possible light for us, staging them for the camera with his unique sense of perspective and space. Clear, almost analytical aesthetics characterize the work of the photographer, who began his career in New York after training at the Merz Academy in Stuttgart and has been living in Stuttgart again since 2005. He travels the world, capturing the essence of buildings and installations, spaces and places with his camera, allowing architecture to tell stories and become a stage for people and life. Daniel Stauch works with renowned architects and designers. In 2023, he exhibited works from his “Re-Set” series at the Architecture Biennale in Venice—photographs of world-famous places empty of people, which become a starting point for something new: a re-set.
