What happens when you take top musicians from the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonic Orchestras, combine them with what they themselves describe as »the most musically flexible pianist in the world«, and allow them to form an ensemble? The answer is Philharmonix – a group of passionate musicians who only perform what they have always wanted to play in their concerts. And contrary to many preconceptions, this desire is not limited to Mozart, Beethoven, and similar composers. On the contrary, their programmes cheerfully include everything that is not nailed down. The Pink Panther occasionally sneaks through the rows of chairs, while the »Baby Elephant« tramples across the stage, before rousing Balkan beats and legendary Queen anthems really get the party underway. Or as the musicians themselves would describe it: »Not everything in our programme is classical music. But everything has musical class!« You can look forward to seeing what they have prepared for Ludwigsburg. At the Forum am Schlosspark, Philharmonix will demonstrate that they are not only world-class musicians, but also talented entertainers with an immense enthusiasm for performance.
