MUSIC IN THE PARK IV

Against the picturesque backdrop of the Monrepos Palace, the Ludwigsburg Festival celebrates the accordion as the Instrument of the Year 2026! Under the open sky, the First Orchestra of the Harmonika-Gemeinschaft Ludwigsburg e.V., under the musical direction of Ute Matt, presents a multifaceted program spanning works by Georges Bizet and Karl Jenkins to film music by John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and other contemporary composers. The focus is always on the accordion and its extraordinary tonal diversity. A special highlight will be the performance by harmonica soloist and former world champion on her instrument, Brigitte Burgbacher.
