Energy, electricity, and timeless songs: Jonas Müller captivates audiences with his finely controlled baritone voice and the great conciseness and clarity with which he imbues every word he sings. Described as a »jack of all trades and thoroughbred musician«, the young singer is increasingly establishing his presence on professional opera and concert stages. He has been a member of the International Opera Studio at Oper Frankfurt since the 2025/26 season, made his debut in Schwetzingen in 2024, and has won the Musikpreis der deutschen Wirtschaft (German Business Music Prize) and the Hugo Wolf Academy’s International Competition for Lied Artistry. He will perform his recital in Ludwigsburg with Aris Alexander Blettenberg at the piano – another jack of all trades who is also skilled in conducting, composing, and arranging, and has been principal conductor of the Munich Chamber Opera since 2024. »When a good deal of electricity has built up, something happens«, Hugo Wolf revealed about his work. In this manner, the two musicians devote themselves entirely to their first-class song selection, bringing energy and concentration.
The concert is part of the Kulturkreis tour, which enables the winners of the Musikpreis der deutschen Wirtschaft (German Business Music Prize) to perform at renowned partner festivals – including the Ludwigsburg Castle Festival, the Beethovenfest Bonn, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, and the Heidelberg Spring Music Festival. The Kulturkreis’s music promotion is supported by G. Henle Verlag, the Peter Klöckner Foundation, and Dr. Arend Oetker.
