Juan Cristóbal Saavedra is a Chilean musician and music producer. He studied sound and cultural management before moving to Berlin. There, he worked as a DJ and composed his first album titled »(…e.q.u.i.p.o…)«. In 2004, Saavedra moved to Barcelona and released ten albums under the pseudonym Equipo. He has also participated in numerous projects in production, mixing, and mastering, and has performed with various musical projects at many festivals and concert halls across Europe and America. Additionally, Juan Cristóbal Saavedra has collaborated with Roger Bernat, Marcos Morau, and La Veronal as a musician, sound designer, and stage technician. His recent works include »Hermana – The Seven Sins«, »La Belle au bois dormant«, and »Afanador«. His composition for the latter production was nominated in 2025 in the category of Best Music Composition for a Stage Performance at the Premios Max de las Artes Escénicas de la SGAE.
