Dmytro Udovychenko inspires growing curiosity and admiration worldwide: The young Ukrainian is the winner of the Concours Reine Elisabeth (2024) and the Montréal International Violin Competition (2023). He continues to refine his artistry at the Kronberg Academy with his current mentors, Boris Garlitsky and Christian Tetzlaff. This season, he performs, among others, with Andrés Orozco-Estrada and the Gürzenich Orchestra, with Oksana Lyniv and the Orchestre National de France, and the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna. Further highlights include performances at the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, at Carnegie Hall, and with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican Center. Udovychenko’s previous partners include l’Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the NDR Radiophilharmonie, and the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra. Recital tours have taken him to the Berliner Philharmonie, the Elbphilharmonie, Wigmore Hall, and many other prestigious venues across the globe. He is also a laureate of the Sibelius Competition, the Singapore International Violin Competition, and the Joseph Joachim Competition in Hanover.
