Soprano Chen Reiss gained widespread recognition as a member of the Bayerische Staatsoper ensemble and as an artist-in-residence at the Vienna State Opera. Highlights of the 2025/26 season include Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Gustavo Dudamel, Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis with the Orchestre de Paris under the baton of Klaus Mäkelä, Brahms’ German Requiem with the London Symphony Orchestra and Manfred Honeck, and Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 with the Rotterdam Philharmonic, conducted by Lahav Shani. Chen Reiss is Artist in Residence with the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla. In recent seasons, she has performed with the Royal Opera House, the Teatro alla Scala, and the philharmonic orchestras in Vienna, Berlin, Munich, and Israel. Her most recent recordings include Mendelssohn’s »Lobgesang« with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich and Paavo Järvi, Mahler’s Fourth Symphony with the Czech Philharmonic and Semyon Bychkov, and Schreker’s »Vom ewigen Leben« with the Konzerthaus Orchestra Berlin, conducted by Christoph Eschenbach.
