The Arcis Saxophone Quartet redefines concert formats with bold interpretations and artistic innovation. The quartet has won numerous international awards, including the Bavarian Art Promotion Prize, the KlassikSommer Music Prize, and prizes at Chance Music (Russia) and Concorso Argento (Italy). Trained by the Artemis Quartet at the Berlin University of the Arts and the European Chamber Music Academy, the four musicians perform worldwide—from the Berlin Philharmonic to Saudi Arabia. In addition to their concert activities, they give master classes and run their own label, arcis records. The combination of dramatic soundscapes, refined musicality, and bold programming makes their concerts an exciting experience.
