Norwegian musician Geir Draugsvoll is widely regarded as one of the most prominent classical accordionists. As a soloist, he performs worldwide at festivals and in renowned concert halls, including the Concertgebouw, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, Barbican Hall, the Philharmonie Luxembourg, the Edinburgh Festival, and the Rheingau Festival. He has also performed with leading orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Philharmonic, the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, and the Amsterdam Sinfonietta. He regularly collaborates with conductors such as Vasily Petrenko, David Geringas, and Yuri Bashmet. Draugsvoll has premiered many works, including »Fachwerk« by Sofia Gubaidulina, »Ad Astrum« by Anatolijus Senderovas, and »Tropic of Cancer« by Magnar Åm. He also serves as a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Music.
