Mezzo-soprano Elvira Bill captivates audiences with her sensitive interpretations and her warm, multifaceted voice. She studied singing with Christoph Prégardien at the Cologne University of Music and graduated with honors in 2010. Her musical journey has been influenced by Reinhard Becker, Thomas Heyer, Ingeborg Danz, and Michael Gees, among others. Her repertoire ranges from the old masters to contemporary music. Elvira Bill is a sought-after artist on many stages and at numerous festivals, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow, the Rheingau Music Festival, the Bach Festival Leipzig, the Teatro Real Madrid, and the Lucerne Festival. She has sung under renowned conductors such as Peter Neumann, Marcus Creed, Philippe Herreweghe, Helmuth Rilling, and Paul Goodwin. Concert tours have taken her to many cities in Germany and Europe, as well as to Russia, China, and Oman. Elvira Bill is also a prize winner of the 2010 Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Conservatory Competition in Berlin in the vocal ensemble category.
