Jon López completed his training as a dancer in his hometown of Madrid. In 2013, he joined the Ballet de la Generalitat in Valencia, where he rehearsed repertoire by choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Davy Brun, and Nacho Duato. In 2015, he became a member of the La Veronal company under Marcos Morau’s direction. As part of the artistic team, he worked as a dancer and assistant in various productions, touring to cities like Paris, London, Luxembourg, and Berlin. In 2016, López founded the Led Silhouette company with Martxel Rodriguez and began his career as a choreographer. Since then, his works have been featured at festivals including Madrid en Danza, Le Temps d’Aimer la danse, Festival Quincena de Dança Almada, and Festival Internazionale Nuova Danza. His latest work, »Los Perros«, a collaboration with Marcos Morau, received the Catalan Critics’ Prize for Best Choreography in 2023.
