Spanish violinist María Dueñas has emerged as a luminous talent in classical music, captivating audiences with her extraordinary range of tonal colors, impeccable technical prowess, and interpretations that blend artistic maturity with bold expressiveness. Following her first two award-winning recordings as an exclusive artist with Deutsche Grammophon, her third album, »Homage to Heifetz«, will be released this summer. On this album, she pays tribute to the legendary violinist Jascha Heifetz alongside Gustavo Dudamel and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela. As a soloist, she has collaborated with some of the world’s leading orchestras and conductors, including Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Manfred Honeck, Daniel Harding, Christian Thieleman, Paavo Järvi, and Herbert Blomstedt. She maintains a close relationship with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Gustavo Dudamel. María Dueñas performs on a 1779 Giambattista Guadagnini violin as a scholarship recipient of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben, as well as on the »Michelangelo« Stradivarius from 1718, on loan from the Karolina Blaberg Foundation.
