Anna Troxler earned her Bachelor’s degree in violin in 2015 from the Moscow State Conservatory. In 2018, she completed a Master’s degree in Music Performance – Concert at the Zurich University of the Arts, followed by a Master’s degree in Specialized Music Performance – Chamber Music in 2020, studying with Ilya Gringolts, Ulrich Koella, and Monika Baer, among others. She has performed with various ensembles and orchestras at major international festivals, including the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Festival Alte Musik Zürich, MA Festival Bruges, Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht, the Salzburg Festival, and the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. The violinist has worked under the direction of renowned conductors such as Thomas Hengelbrock, Raphaël Pichon, Sylvain Cambreling, Gianluca Capuano, William Christie, Heinz Holliger, Trevor Pinnock, Teodor Currentzis, Philippe Herreweghe, René Jacobs, and Giovanni Antonini. Currently, Anna Troxler is the second Concertmaster of the Basel Chamber Orchestra.
