A musical journey through the region: Once again this year, the Ludwigsburg Festival invites you to an engaging, atmospheric start outdoors, offering a variety of musical styles at special locations along the Neckar River. The cycle route takes you from picturesque Alt-Hoheneck in Ludwigsburg via Marbach and Benningen to the late Gothic Amanduskirche church in Freiberg am Neckar. The routes between the concerts become part of the overall experience. The »Festival by the River« combines enjoying concerts with discovery, art, exercise, history, and the present, as well as town and country. Experience places that blend history, atmosphere, and proximity uniquely. The format is designed for adults, families, and children alike, bringing the festival atmosphere to where it belongs: among the people, in the heart of the region. A lively, sensory start to the festival season.
You’re free to cycle between the venues. No registration is required, and the concerts are free. Just stop by, join the ride, and enjoy.
Tour 1: from Hoheneck
Hoheneck – Marbach – Benningen – Freiberg – Hoheneck

The first tour starts at the village square in Alt-Hoheneck at 2 p.m. Following a performance by PasParTouT, the tour will pass through Marbach, Benningen, and Freiberg before ending back in Hoheneck, this time at the winepress.
The tour is expected to end around 7 p.m.

The second tour begins at the village square in Alt-Hoheneck at 3:00 p.m. Following a performance by PasParTouT, the tour will proceed through Marbach and Benningen; it will end back in Hoheneck, first at the village square with PasParTouT and finally at the wine press with the Trio Tikismikis.
The tour is scheduled to end around 7 p.m.

The third tour begins at the Old Run-of-the-River Power Plant in Marbach at 3 p.m. Following a performance by TalkingDrums, the tour will pass through Benningen and Freiberg, ending in Hoheneck—first at the village square with PasParTouT, and then at the wine press for the Tikismikis Trio.
The tour will end at approximately 7 p.m.

Benningen – Freiberg – Marbach – Hoheneck

The tour is expected to end around 7 p.m.

Freiberg – Benningen – Marbach – Hoheneck

The tour will end at approximately 7 p.m.
