Pablo Ferrández is regarded as a cello prodigy and one of the most sought-after instrumentalists of his generation. He won the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition in the cello category and is an exclusive artist with SONY Classical. His 2021 debut album, »Reflections«, received critical acclaim and won the OPUS KLASSIK prize. Ferrández also performs with leading orchestras, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Philharmonic, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre National de France, the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. The musician is regularly invited to internationally renowned festivals, including those in Salzburg, Dresden, Rheingau, Sion, and Tongyeong. The 2025/26 season also includes a trio tour with Anne-Sophie Mutter and Yefim Bronfman, featuring concerts in Munich, Hamburg, Geneva, Zurich, Paris, and Barcelona, as well as European tours with the European Union Youth Orchestra and Vasily Petrenko, and with the Spanish National Symphony Orchestra and David Afkham. Pablo Ferrández plays the 1689 Stradivarius »Archinto«, made available to him by a member of the Stretton Society.
