Renatus Mészár studied singing at conservatories in Hamburg and Munich and made his opera debut during his studies at the Münchener Biennale. He started his career as a member of the NDR Radio Orchestra before securing his first permanent position as a soloist at the State Theater in Braunschweig. His repertoire includes roles such as Figaro, Leporello, King Philip, and Zaccaria. Additionally, Renatus Mészár has performed at renowned opera houses, including the Komische Oper Berlin, the Volksoper Wien, and the Budapest State Opera. The winner of international singing competitions has also collaborated with renowned orchestras like the WDR Symphony Orchestra, the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Orquesta Nacional de España in Madrid, working with conductors such as Michael Boder, Frans Brüggen, Gustav Kuhn, and Jun Märkl, as well as directors including Stephen Lawless, Yuval Sharon, and Keith Warner. Since the 2025/26 season, Renatus Mészár has been a member of the ensemble at the Mannheim National Theater, where he performs roles like Gurnemanz in »Parsifal« and Sarastro in »The Magic Flute«.
