Australian tenor Christopher Diffey began his vocal training with Peter Mander at the Monash University and continued his studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London. His performances have taken him to the Scottish Opera, the Opera Holland Park, and the Bury Court Opera, as well as to numerous festivals in France and the UK. Since 2016, Christopher Diffey has been a member of the ensemble at the Mannheim National Theater. There, he has achieved significant success as David in »Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg«, Max in »Der Freischütz«, Erik in »Der Fliegende Holländer«, Dancaïro in »Carmen«, and as the Dancing Master in »Ariadne auf Naxos«. He is also a successful concert soloist and lieder singer. His repertoire includes Britten’s Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings and song cycles by Beethoven, Britten, Schubert, and Schumann.
