Austrian singer Miriam Feuersinger is one of the leading sopranos in the field of sacred Baroque music. Her greatest passion, both musically and thematically, lies in the cantatas and Passions of J.S. Bach. Since 2014, Miriam Feuersinger has been organizing the series »Bach Cantatas in Vorarlberg« with cellist Thomas Platzgummer. The soprano is a regular guest at renowned Bach series such as the Bachstiftung Trogen, All of Bach, and the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart. She also has an extensive repertoire of sacred music ranging from Baroque to late Romanticism and performs with conductors such as Jordi Savall, Václav Luks, Hans-Christoph Rademann, Rudolf Lutz, Jörg-Andreas Bötticher, and Lorenzo Ghielmi, as well as with ensembles such as the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, Collegium Vocale Gent, Holland Baroque, and the Basel Chamber Orchestra. Numerous awards, including the German Record Critics’ Award 2/2014, the ECHO KLASSIK 2014, the Ö1 Pasticcio Preis 5/2017, and the OPUS KLASSIK 2022, recognize her work.
