Pianist Roman Lopatynskyi has won numerous awards at over 20 international piano competitions, including the Hamamatsu Competition, the Busoni Competition in Bolzano, the Horowitz Piano Competition in Kiev, and the Maria Canals Music Competition in Barcelona. He is considered one of Ukraine’s most promising young pianists. His recent accomplishments include making his debut at the Enescu Festival in Bucharest in 2025, where he won first prize and was awarded the Radu Lupu Prize in the piano competition shortly before. Lopatynskyi regularly performs in concert halls and at festivals such as Ginza Hall in Tokyo, Steinway Hall in New York, and the Next Generation Festival in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland. He has collaborated with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, the Orchestra dell’Arena di Verona, and the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna. Additionally, he has performed at the Musikverein and the Konzerthaus in Vienna.
