Marc Salicrú is an interdisciplinary artist working in performing arts, audiovisual media, installation, and music. He studied stage design at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and was an artist in residence at the Can Xalant center from 2009 to 2013. During this time, he also expanded his training in film, programming, expressive technology, and audiovisual control. Salicrú is the founder and member of the VVAA collective, with which he has created works like »ARCAS 2020«, »This is Real Love«, and »Pool (No Water)«. In 2024, he founded Teatres de Campanya as an umbrella organization for artists to develop large-scale actions and performances, while continuing his personal career. His first action, »Interferència 01«, was awarded the 2025 Critics’ Prize for Best Street Performance. Previously, his work received honors such as the Critics’ Award, the BBVA Theatre Award, and the Broadway World Spain Award. He has recently collaborated with Jaume Plensa, Marcos Morau, and La Veronal, among others.
