Roberto Fratini, from Milan, is a playwright, dance theorist, and lecturer at the Dance Conservatory in Barcelona. He collaborates with various choreographers and directors in contemporary theatre, including Caterina Sagna, Philippe Saire, Marcos Morau, Patricia Apergi, and Roger Bernat, among others, for which he has received recognition and notable awards outside Spain. Fratini is also a guest lecturer at many European academic and theatrical institutions, such as the Scuola Paolo Grassi in Milan, the Bern University of Applied Sciences, and the University of Barcelona. He publishes poems, books, and essays on dramaturgy and dance theory. Additionally, he was a keynote speaker at Modul-Dance Europe, responsible for the »Dramaturgie Chorégraphique« network of the Société des Auteurs Suisses, dramaturgical curator of the Urtopie(s) International Academy of Choreography in Elefsina, and coordinator of the dance ideas blog at the Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona.
