One of the most promising talents from Russia’s traditional piano school, Vsevolod Zavidov obtained international attention when he won the »Prix UBS Jeunes Solistes 2025«. The pianist impresses with an artistic maturity and expressiveness that far exceed his young age. Born in Moscow in 2005, Zavidov received his first piano lessons at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory at the age of four. He continued his musical education at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow and at the Haute école de musique de Genève. At the age of ten, he made his solo debut at Carnegie Hall in New York. Since then, he has performed in all of Russia’s major concert halls, given concerts throughout Europe, and toured the United States and Japan. Numerous awards and praise from the international press honour the young pianist, who captivates his audience with excellent technical skills and soulful playing.
