The Berlin-based Baroque harpist Luise Enzian studied concert harp and Baroque harp in Trossingen, Berlin, and Milan. She has performed as a soloist at the Staatsoper unter den Linden and the Bachfesttage. She has also participated in opera productions at the Theater an der Wien and the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona, among others. Additionally, she has played with the SWR Symphony Orchestra at the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Donaueschingen Music Days. Luise Enzian is a member of various ensembles, including Lauttencompagney Berlin, and performs in a duo with saxophonist Asya Fateyeva. She is dedicated both to the historical repertoire for baroque harp and to contemporary compositions. In this area, she has premiered several works by Moritz Eggert, among others, and is committed to new pieces for her instrument. Luise Enzian is a scholarship recipient of the Alfred Töpfer Foundation Hamburg and the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation.
